Simple Vinaigrette Recipe

This simple vinaigrette recipe is the foundation formula for hundreds of variations of salad dressings. I love that it can be multiplied easily to make larger batches for family and friends and that the flavor profile can be customized to create your own signature salad dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup olive oil good quality
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 -1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a shaker bottle or mason jar and shake vigorously.
  2. Let rest for 10 minutes or longer before dressing salad.
