This simple recipe makes a flavorful herb rub that is delicious on meat and fish. The combination of herbs packs a medicinal punch, and the flavors remind me of grilled foods from the south of France.
Natural salt formed millions of years ago before pollution can actually be good for us. Naturally occurring mined salt contains more than 80 minerals and beneficial elements that support good health and can help prevent many diseases. Herbs help support our immune system, balance our adrenal glands, and stimulate liver function.
One of my favorite ways to use Herbs du Provence Sea Salt Rub is to season a whole chicken, inside and out, and then slow roast. The smell is delicious, and a roast chicken is comfort food at its best.
I love to give this rub as a host gift.
