Pumpkin Spice is one of the most beloved fall flavors. But it can also contain artificial ingredients and added sugar, making it more of a trick than a treat. Try this DIY recipe!

DIY Pumpkin Spice Mix

Servings 2 tablespoons ground spice blend

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
  • ¼ to ¾ teaspoon ground cloves to taste
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamon

Instructions

  1. Place the cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, cardamon and cloves in a sieve set over a small bowl; sift to make sure you don’t have any clumps of spice. Mix well, then transfer to an airtight container. Store in a dark, cool space. It will keep for as long as the spices stay fresh.
