  • 1/2 Cup Freshly squeezed lemon juice – a good lemon juicer makes it simple  
  • 2/3 Cup Best-quality olive oil – preferably first press extra-virgin
  • 1 Tbsp Minced shallot
  • 1 Tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/4 to 1/2 Tsp Freshly ground pepper
